Winter gas. Anyone who has used an LPG stove in cold conditions knows that the lower the temperature, the worse the stove will perform. Using the stove in cold temperatures reduces the pressure in the gas container, which means that the stove burns with less power or not at all. This is despite the fact that there may still be gas in the container, since liquid gas evaporates less as the temperature drops.

Primus Winter Gas™ is equipped with VaporMesh™, a highly absorbent paper inside the container, which helps to maintain a higher pressure, which in turn makes the stove burn better. VaporMesh increases the area where the liquid fuel evaporates into gas. The wider area accelerates the process of converting liquid into gas, and it is this rate that determines the pressure inside the container. Quick process = High pressure. Compared with conventional gas containers, this enables Winter Gas™ to deliver reliable performance even in cold conditions, where it had previously not been possible to use gas.
