Silver solder 55 Sn Meltolit
55Sn Cadmium-free silver solder with 55% silver used for all metals except aluminium and its alloys. For hard soldering in capillary, pipe and sheet metal parts. Silver solder has high fluid and wetting properties. The product is used in precision engineering, heat exchangers, sanitary installations, etc. Good colour matching with stainless. Available both with (55SnF) and without flux coating (55Sn). Solder without flux does not contain phosphorus, which means that a silver solder flux type Meltolit 770 is required to break down the oxide on the base material when joining these metals.
