Used for the inside of glazed doors, windows and cabinet doors fitted with espagnolettes to secure against intrusion and unauthorised opening. 835S: Locks by turning the key. 837S: Locks automatically when handle is turned to the closed position. Locking occurs via a standard oval cylinder. The key can be removed in the unlocked position. The handle has a slip coupling (does not apply to handles with a 7 mm square pin), which operates in the event of overload and prevents the locking mechanism from breaking caused by attempted intrusion and unauthorised opening from the inside. When the grip slips, the espagnolette is not affected until the lock unlocks. Once the grip has slipped, the safety handle must be replaced. Pin made of 8 mm galvanized square steel.
