Description

SAFE-GUARD-5 designed to be mounted on the gas cylinder’s regulator or on outlet posts in gas supply systems. Safety product to protect the welder from full flashbacks, backflow and fire while welding and cutting.

SAFE-GUARD-5 has a connection angle of 30°. When connected to regulators the flashback arrestor sits parallel to the gas cylinder. Flashback arrestors must always be used on fuel gases and propane and are recommended for oxygen. As oxygen increases the combustion rate, a flashback arrestor should also be fitted on the oxygen regulator.

Five safety functions:

- Turn off the gas supply with flashback

- Stop and extinguish the flashback

- Prevent backward flow

- Turn off the gas supply in case of overheating (95°C)

- Simple and effective reset function
