Welding electrodes for cast iron Luna RMA CastNi
Electrode class:
EN ISO 1071 : E C Ni - Cl 1
AWS A5.15 :E Ni-CI
Luna RMA CastNi Nickel electrode developed for welding cast iron. Can be used for repair work and welding joints on grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron and malleable cast iron as well as for welding joints between these, steel, monel and stainless steel. Preheating between 150 - 250° C is recommended when welding materials thicker than 15 mm. Weld short “runs” followed by slow cooling between each set of welds. Use small dimensions, try to weld with as little energy flow as possibly.
Supplied in robust plastic sleeves 1kg/sleeve.
Current type: DC-/AC at low heat input.
