Cromarod 308L ELGA
Cromarod 308L is a rutile all current electrode intended for welding low carbon, austenitic 18% Cr / 10% Ni stainless steel, type SS 2333 and the like. It has excellent welding characteristics with a soft arc, which minimises weld spatter and provides a smooth bead appearance and self-releasing slag. Cromarod 308L is also ideal for welding ferritic and martensitic stainless steels, as there is no requirement for type-specific weld deposits. The electrode can be used to weld Nb or Ti stabilised steel when the operating temperature is below 400°C.
