Cable detector Fluke 2042
Cable detector 2042 is a universal tool for tracing faulty cables and is perfect for cable detection in walls and the ground, as well as searching for fuses/switches in final circuits and locating breaks and short circuits in cables and underfloor heating loops. For all types of applications (live and non-live cables) without using additional tools. It can also be used to detect metal water and heating pipes. Transmitter with LC display showing output level, transmission code and external voltage. Proven digitally coded signal for secure signal identification. Receiver with backlit LC display for input level, signal reception code and voltage display. Automatic or manual adjustment of receiver sensitivity. The receiver also has a torch function for work in low light.
Audio signal on reception can be switched off. Automatic shut-off. All inputs are protected according to EN61010-1, CAT III 300V.
Set includes a transmitter and a receiver, 2 powerful test leads TL27, lantern tip test leads TP74, crocodile clip set AC285, supplied complete in a specially designed case.
Additional transmitter 2042T available as an accessory for searching multiple signals simultaneously.
