Description

High-ohmic voltage detector for electricity and electronics. Elam 197 is adapted for fault finding in cars and boats. Suitable for measuring in insulated cables. The hook makes it easy to reach all cables in cable trunks. A small hole is made in the middle of the cable to check if it is live. The check is made without having to release any of the cable ends. The LEDs indicate voltage and polarity (+/-). The crocodile clip is connected to earth or the chassis.
