The combination of the grit’s hardness, shape and size ensures that the grindstone works efficiently at the Tormek machine's low speeds. The higher grinding capacity of the stone is particularly valuable when shaping tools with a large grinding surface with a low grinding pressure, such as machine plane irons and chisels for wood turning.
