Easy to operate vertical drilling machines, mounted on a sturdy steel column. The drilling arm can be swivelled through 360° as well as raised and lowered via a gear rack. Gear operation and gearbox with helical gears made of steel and fibre material for a silent machine requiring minimum maintenance. Quick and easy selection between the 8 stages in the gearbox.

Supplied complete with motor protection with zero voltage release and emergency stop – IP 41, integrated drift for easy tool changes, rectangular table with T-slots, oil channel and drill guard with microswitch. The machine is equipped with a reversing spindle as standard.

Note that the machines must be equipped with a safety chuck with clamping force ring.

A 4008 ELM is equipped with an electromagnetic coupling that is controlled using pushbuttons fitted on the feed handle. Overload protection that activates when the drilling pressure is too high. Equipped as standard with automatic reversing device for tapping.
