Type Lon Grip. Not tapered - same dimension on the attachment as on the tool. Once a hole is drilled in the remaining screw end the screw extractor is knocked in. The flanges then press into the sides of the dill hole and the screw can be removed using its own threads. The threads in the screw hole remain completely undamaged. There are special centring sleeves available for the drilling stage for smaller dimensions.

Instructions:

1. A hole is drilled in the broken screw.

2. The hole is opened up to the right size.

3. The screw extractor is driven into the hole. The hex nut is put on. The screw can now be screwed out using its own threads.

4. If the screw does not reach up to the edge of the material the centring sleeve is used.
