Fibre disc Norton AVOS
AVOS The unique combination of a triangular form and a special hole pattern on the support pad and disc means that you can see the work surface through the disc during sanding. This means an operator can watch and check the result continuously during sanding, which can then be done quicker. The triangular form in combination with the hole pattern means that the sanding cycle features very short pauses. During these very short pauses when there is no material removal the ground material and consumed grit are removed from the sanding surface through the holes, which reduces heat development by up to 25% i.e. significantly colder sanding. Other important benefits are improved surface finish, faster sanding, longer life and more comfortable working position. Used for sanding welds, deburring and light form sanding, finishing, cleaning, polishing, rust and paint removal etc. Note to achieve the best result at working angle of 5° - 15° should be used. Care must be taken when sanding in corners. Max. peripheral speed 80 m/s.
