217. Helix pitch 28°. Point angle 118°. Vapour treated from 2.36 mm. With split point, from 1.0 mm, for accurate centring, reducing axial forces and gives improved hole tolerance. Standard drills for drilling deep holes. Also suitable for drilling through drill bushings. For drilling steel and cast steel (alloyed and non-alloyed), castings, malleable cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron. Measurements according to DIN 340.
