Gasket materials
Neoprene rubber: CR-SBR has good weather resistance and relatively good oil resistance. Temperature limits -30 to +70 ºC. Oil fibre: An excellent material for the manufacture of gaskets in internal combustion engines (carburettors, oil sumps, gearboxes). Rubber-free vegetable packaging impregnated with oil which is resistant to solvents. Max. temperature: + 120 ºC. Max. pressure: 10 MPa. High pressure gasket: A high quality universal gasket for a variety of media. Ideal for steam, hot water, oil, hydrocarbons, drinking water, gas, etc. Max. temperature 300 ºC. Rubber cork: Used as packaging material for cold and hot water, organic solvents such as oil and petrol, gases, air, etc. in flanges, caps and covers for internal combustion engines, fuel gauges, cooling machines, refineries, tank facilities, crankcase covers, transformers, etc. Made of fine granulated cork, vulcanised with a synthetic rubber mixture under great pressure. Max. temperature: -30 to +120 ºC. Max. pressure: 10 MPa.
