Plastic container UN-approved for dangerous goods
UN-approved container made from very high strength and impact resistant material. Unbreakable when used in normal conditions. Resistant to solvents, e.g. alcohol, petrol and diesel. Withstands temperatures between approx. +70 °C and -40 °C. Odourless, but can assume the odour of strong smelling substances. Food grade approved and contains no heavy metals. Made of ethylene plastic, which can be reused or recycled as plastic material or energy with minimal environmental impact. Carbon dioxide and water are formed during combustion. For the 25 litre container, the cap can be replaced with a drainage tap. The containers are type approved by Nordisk Emballasje Testing (NET) for the storage and transport of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods is a collective term for a group of substances and products with dangerous properties that can harm humans, animals, property and the environment. These goods are subject to special regulations regarding how they are to be transported and the nature of the packaging. These rules are based on UN recommendations. The containers have a volume rating of 25 litres and tactile markings for the visually impaired. Each container has a black UN-approved screw cap.
