Metal halide lighting provides the same white light as conventional halogen lighting with an energy saving of approx. 75 %. Symmetrical floodlights are best for illuminating equal areas on both sides of the light source’s midpoint. With rubber cable approved for outdoor use IP44 and without rubber cable IP65. Metal halide lighting should not be used in conjunction with a motion sensor or in installations which otherwise switch on and off frequently. This is a discharge light, which has a start-up time and a cooling time of 5 minutes. If you have installations with short switch on intervals, we recommend LED lighting instead. Includes metal halide light source.
