Description

Consists of broach, sleeves and spacers.

The broaches are manufactured of ion-nitrated high speed steel - the sleeves are nickel plated.

A standard piercing press or tool press or any other press with a stroke length of 300 mm can be used for reaming. (A heavy-duty drilling machine or lathe can also be used for small keyways.)

Working method: Place a sleeve in the shaft hole, insert a broach in the sleeves slot and press the broach through. Now place a spacer in the slot and press the broach through again. The keyway is now finished.
