Two powerful tools in one. Insulation multimeter 1577 combines a digital insulation tester with a fully-fledged digital multimeter for measuring true RMS in a single compact hand-held unit, so that maximum versatility for both trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance is obtained.

Insulation test functions: 1577 is easy to use with a simple interface and can be used to measure insulation resistance up to 600 M Ω, with two output voltages from 500 V and 1000 V. Possibility to test resistance up to 600 M Ω with either 500 V or 1000 V. The new remote testing probe allows you to start measurements by pressing the button on the probe handle. Insulation testing is cancelled if the instrument is connected to a live circuit of more than 30 volt. After testing an automatic discharge of the capacitive voltages occurs on the equipment to be tested to avoid electric shocks.

The Fluke insulation multimeter is safety classified according to 600 V CAT IV/1000 V Cat III.

The meter is supplied complete with test leads, crocodile clips and a remote testing probe in a robust, hard case. They are powered by four AA batteries that last for approx. 1000 insulation tests. The instrument's yellow protective case together with Fluke TPAK™ (magnetic suspension system) allows you to have both hands free.
