F996 Quantum. A heavy duty fibre discs coated with the latest generation of SG-abrasive that gives maximum removal and life.

The back material used on Quantum F996 is a newly developed fibre that gives the disc a longer life. Furthermore, a new phenoplastic binding agent gives better anchorage of the abrasive grit. The new fibre disc has also a special surface layer with

a filling agent (supersize) which reduces heat generation and in doing so minimises the risk of burning the work piece. Quantum F996 is particularly suitable for grinding stainless steel, cobalt -chromium alloys and other difficult-to-cut materials as well as the grinding of welds. It is also suited for deburring and edge grinding. Ideally suited for high power machines together with air cooled back-up pad.
